“My Bluebell House experience”

Bluebell House

31 Oct 2007

I stayed at Bluebell House in October with my boyfriend and was greeted by Margaret upon arrival. The house is beautiful and the staff are instantly likable. The rooms are gorgeous, clean and very comfortable. Bluebell House itself is a 5 minute walk from the city centre and just a 10 minute drive to Loch Ness. Oh, and the breakfast is fantastic. I will definately go back.

We stayed in the Bluebell for two nights in mid-September. We had changed travel arrangements and required accommodation in Inverness on short notice and thus happened to come across the Bluebell.
The B&B is in a convenient location, a short walk from the town center.
We stayed in the Bluebell room, a spacious room with very busy floral and a multitude of other patterns and decorations. The ensuite room is equipped with TV/DVD and jug. The king size bed is very comfortable. Facing the road I found the room rather noisy, my husband did not mind though.
The breakfast was the standard 'artery clogging' highland fare.
Free Wifi and off-road parking are available.
I would rate it '3' (satisfactory = meeting expectations), my husband was very happy with the place, so we decided to rate it '4'.

“Bluebell House is the Best!”

October 2006. We arrived in Inverness at the end of the day and were having trouble finding a place to stay. A nice young lady in a shop recommended Bluebell House. We found a warm, enthusiastic welcome upon our arrival, even tho it was late. The room was spacious, very clean, and lovingly decorated in Scottish style. We had a wonderful night's sleep and an even better Scottish breakfast, all for a very, very reasonable price. Owners were exceptionally friendly. Overall, the best experience!

We stayed three nights in the Bluebell. The location is excellent - close to the City Centre and close to the roads leading to Loch Ness and beyond. The B&B also has a private car park with good access to the street.

Our room was spacious and very comfortable and the ensuite bath was great. Margaret and Neil provide a wonderful full Scottish breakfast and their dog, Ruby, is willing to take the blood pudding if you don't want it (Margaret included it our first breakfast to see if we'd like it). Also, they provide coffee/tea making facilities (tea, coffee and shortbread biscuits) in the room.

The Bluebell is very close to a launderette as an added bonus for travelers like us.

We recently stayed 5 nights at the Bluebell House on Kenneth Road in Inverness.
The Bed and Breakfast was an absolutely perfect location within walking distance to everything! It is close to the River Ness and excellent restaurants.
Margaret and Neil Hart are perfect host and the Victorian House is charming. It is very small, only three rooms, but the twin room we had was lovey. It included a private bathroom/shower hospitality tray, hair dryer and of course breakfast.
On two occasions we left early to tour and Margaret left us breakfast and snacks.
It was like staying with relatives! It deserves the 4 stars of the Scottish Tourist Board.
