We booked 2 rooms for one night at the start of our trip to the Highlands and what a great start we had at Bluebell House.
Firstly, the location is excellent is near, but not too near, the sadly rundown centre of Inverness. A short scenic stroll across the pedestrian bridge spanning the river Ness reaches Academy Street and you will see some good waterfront restaurants en route (we recommend Riva).
Bluebell House is a handsome building with large, beautifully proportioned rooms. Our rooms (one of which was the 4 poster mentioned by other reviewers) were very comfortable and stylish with a traditional feel.
Margaret & Neil are great hosts, available but not intrusive and they cook up superb breakfasts to order.
I would recommend this B&B to anyone wanting to enjoy personal Scottish hospitality at its best
PS For dog lovers, ask to be introduced to Ruby, the prettiest and best behaved boxer you are likely to meet!
