Good location and staff, but poor old fashioned room. Plumbing awful and no towel! Suggect check room before checking in.

We stayed at this hotel with friends Fri 9th-Sat 10th Feb and had a wonderful stay. Staff very friendly and helpful, rooms clean and plenty to choose on the menu. Overall excellent value for money

We got to the hotel three hours prior to the designated check-in time and they kindly cleaned our room and got it ready in 20 minutes. Very friendly bar area with casual environment and very kid friendly. Food was excellent and staff was very friendly. No lifts/elevators so be aware of carrying luggage upstairs. The shower was not ideal but our bath tub was large enough for two adults and a ten month old and very comfortable. Great location in the center of the city or within walking distance of most things.

My boyfriend and I checked into Best Western Imperial Hotel in Fort Williams for 1 night after driving around - not much choice really as the other one in the town centre was closed.

Anyway, service at the reception was warm and efficient. Got us our room really quick. We got a double room. It was a bit dim for my liking - there were only 3 lamps in the room. Curtains were off their hooks, the chest of drawers were a bit dingy but otherwise everything was cool, clean and working. There was wireless internet access which is always a big bonus.

Bathroom was really nicely tiled. Big and spacious. HOWEVER, if you're like me - not exactly very patient, dont use the shower, ever! It will drive you nuts. The water pressure was horrible to start with and it got weaker as you go along. ARGH. Exasperating really.

They have a pretty good menu at the bar (didnt get to try the restaurant). Thought the staff were all polite and friendly. Not too bad at all.

Overall was bearable but was really really miffed about the shower head.
