Beautiful B&B overlooking the water in Fort William. The room was quite large with a nice, comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious with a huge selection. House is close enough to walk to the main area of town for shops and restaurants. Hospitality of the owner was excellent. Highly recommend this B&B to anyone going to Scotland.

A lovely little guest house just five minutes from the town centre. Lorna, warmly greeted us from our drive from Blantyre (just outside Glasgow) she was very knowledgable on the area and reccomneded us on restaurants and things to do around Fort William Ben Nevis area. The rooms were superb and of a high standard. For the saturday, we paid £70 (per night) and single ocupancy £55. Both with a hot breakfast included as well as a wide variety of types of breakfast. I would reccomend this guest house to anyone.

Well I did my research looking at all the B&B's in Fort William and chose Buccleuch. How right I was. Beautiful large bedroom with chandelier, large ensuite bathroom (bigger than some bedrooms) lovely furnishings. Excellent friendly, helpful hosts, superb breakfast in conservatory overlooking the Loch. Better than a top rated hotel. Just a 5 minute walk from the town centre. Cannot recommend highly enough but make sure you pre book as the secret is out and it is very popular.

For those of you who want to visit Fort William - an entry point to Scottish highlands, there is one place where you simply will want to return to - Buccleuch Guesthouse. It is a family run guesthouse only a few minutes walk from Fort William's High Street but with great views on nearby lake breathtaking mountains. Owners of the hotel are a very kind couple who do their best to give you most of your stay there. We picked this guesthouse for our honeymoon and could not have picked better. The room we've got was spatious, with a wide bed, just enough storage space, spotless en-suite bathroom and an amazing view on the lake. Downstairs is a bright and nicely furnished common room with a comfy sofa, wide selection of books and magazines. Lorna, one of the owners, prepares great breakfast, served right next to the common room which also provides nice views. As I said, you cannot go wrong with Buccleuch, it is heaven for newlyweds and great starting point for tourists.
