What can we say, peter and lesley run one of the best and friendliest guest houses in scotland.the food and hospitallity is scond to none.
We were totally stunned by the amazing help we got from them with a hugh problem with one of our bikes the made the rest of our tour possible cant praise them and there guest house enough thank you we will be back

Having visited Distant Hills in the past my friends and I decided to revisit the area we like so much. We were not disappointed, the new owners Peter and Lesley made our stay as good as we could have wished. The accomodation is first class, the food excellent and their hospitallity second to none.But for the weather, well it was June 2007 in Scotland we could not have enjoyed ourselves any more, we look forward to a return visit.
Its good to know Distant Hills is in safe hands.

Recently i´ve been in this Guest House with my wife and children and i must fully recomend it.

Rooms are clean and modern.
Hosts are very helpul and pleasant. They will provide all info you´´ll need related to this area.
Breakfast is delicious, in my 13 travel days around Scotland, I would consider it the best one.
And children are welcome

In conclusion, a very nice place to stay and the perfect place to visit Fort William area.

We stayed at Distant Hills for two nights as a base for a trip on the Fort William to Mallaig steam train. The food was amazing - would thoroughly recommend booking in for dinner as well as the fabulous breakfast. But what really sets this place apart is the wonderful, warm hospitality from Peter and Lesley.
