Stayed here on the way down home after New Year. Great place to stop before/ after braving the nightmare that is the A9 as it is only a few yards away from the A9 roundabout

Hotel does exactly what it "says it does on the tin". Not luxurious but clean and quiet.

Staff were very friendly even when we asked to change room - before we went into the room we heard some kids next door. Cant comment about whether we would have heard them from inside the room but we were not going to take that chance as we needed a good sleep (after a hectic New Year' eve......)

Pub next door was shut for food (as it was New Year's day) so we just headed into town to find a curry house that was open (Manzil's - okay but not that good).

Rooms quite small but a very good continental breakfast

Overall comment - good place if you need a break in your journey. Would stay there again to break up a journey

Have just returned from an overnight stay here. We were attending a concert in Royal Concert Hall in Perth , and it was great base. A taxi into the centre of Perth takes approx 5 mins and cost £5.

The room was great for what we wanted . A Base !

The staff were really helpful, friendly and efficient .

Breakfast is a bit basic , but ample , and the tables were clean and no mess around .

Compliments to all staff. A good team here .

Holiday Inn Express hotels have always been of a consistent standard and this was no exception. The room was slightly larger than some other hotels in this chain and everything was clean. The staff helpfully brought extra towels to the room after we'd failed to find the two spare ones that were under a shelf and also provided an iron and ironing board when requested.

The breakfast was, again, typical of this chain - no cooked breakfast, but a reasonable selection of cereals, bread, croissants, yoghurt and pastires. No complaints for £55.20.

Tried to find somewhere to eat in Perth, but having been told that the Pizza Express was full and not finding any other mid-price restaurants, we returned to the Hungry Horse pub next to the hotel, which was excellent value.

Holiday Inn Express offer clean convenient basic accomodation and Perth was no exception. Ideal for business or base for touring the area. I suspect recently refurbished so the rooms were clean and modern. No bath but good shower. Rooms are a little on the small side and wouldnt want to stay here as a family. Pub next door offers reasonable bar type meals, good value and plentiful, no children allowed after 8.00pm.
Limited buffett breakfast included and small bar in hotel.
Very pleasant staff and overall enjoyed our three nights of good value, clean, comfortable accomodation.
