Stayed two nights and could not fault the Hotel.The Manageress was very pleasent and helpfull.Next door is the Hungry Horse pub,cheap meals and ok.
Perth is a good centre for touring the beautiful countryside and historical sites.

Having enjoyed a wonderful, very comfortable stay at a most hospitable and professional run hotel, I went on to Trip Advisor to express my pleasurable experience for the benefit of others. I was dismayed to find a very critical review from another guest awaiting my attention on the site, and I must say for the benefit of all that this guest's comments are totally at odds with the experience I enjoyed at the hotel. I was actually wondering if I was at the same place!

I travel very extensively and regularly throughout Scotland and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this superb, excellent value property to anyone.

Express by Holiday Inn : A nightmare!! I stayed at this hotel for about a week i.e. from 20/09 to 26/09. I was told on Saturday (25th) a day before I checked out that I could use traveller’s cheques to pay my hotel bills. On Sunday morning the lady at the hotel reception declined from accepting TC’s. I do not have a credit card or checking account in Britain, if I would have been told on Saturday I could have arranged for some cash by exchanging my TC’s at the bank. To my surprise instead of helping me out the Holiday inn staff were very rude to me and demanded me to make the payment using my credit card. They were even not ready to provide me information on where I could exchange my TC’s on a Sunday.
Apart from this incident the hotel staff were always rude with me, they were even very reluctant to accept my laundry. The lady at the reception was not ready to format my bill according to the way my company wanted. As a matter of fact she didn’t even respond when I requested her to reformat the bill. I have stayed at Holiday inn hotels in London and US and never faced any issues. As the result of these incidents I have asked my company travel agents not to book at Express by Holiday inn in Perth for any of my companies employees.
Suggest you all to think twice before you book in this hotel

Used this hotel as a quick stopever on the way up to Inverness. Was very pleasantly suprised by the standard. Quiet, clean and staff were friendly. Breakfast was simple, but quite good.

Really was an excellent hotel for the price. Would strongly recommend as a stopping point for anyone travelling around the area.
