We have stayed at Parklands several times because of the convenience of the location, close to the centre of Perth yet pleasant with the park on the doorstep, and the friendliness and efficiency of the staff, but what really sets the hotel apart is the standard of the food. We have never had a disappointing dinner and were particularly impressed that on our most recent visit, which was on a quiet Sunday evening with (we later learned) the number two chef in the kitchen, the quality of the food was excellent.
We wouldn't stay anywhere else when we visit Perth.

I stayed at The Parklands for one night. It is right next to the rail station (there was no noise from it) so it was very convenient. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. The room was a good size and the bathroom was lovely. Wireless internet was free, which was a plus. I would definitely stay here again.

I recently attended a wedding at the Parklands Hotel, it was the first time i have been at the hotel but will defenity return. The hotel staff were so helpful, polite and friendly the meal was one of the best meals i have ever had my view of this was shared for whole wedding party it really rounded off the whole experience from this fine hotel.

As beening a local couple we had never relised about how much this hotel complements Perth for it food and service it is stand out for other hotels in perth and will return for the whole dining experience over and over again.

Stayed at this hotel for one night only recently. Nice hotel and staff very attentive and friendly. Room was meant to be superior room but very small room and also bed small double. Very dark furnishing and dark bedding which didn't do it any favours. Large bathroom which was very clean. As was said in previous comments old building so floors very squeaky and could hear the people above us when they walked about. Wouldn't have said it was the best hotel I have stayed in but it was okay. Previous comments were that the breakfast was excellent - again I would not say it was superior and definitely would not have been worth paying £13.45 for. Didn't eat in the hotel's restaurant as it was very quiet and lacked atmostphere as did the bar area, maybe at a busier time of the year would be a nice place to eat. Found a superb little restaurant called South Bistro on South Street which had amazing food and very reasonably priced - very busy so go early or book - but well worth a visit.
