First of all the location, this hotel is located on the Broxden junction, so you definetly need a car to get into Perth. There is a brewers fayre next door and a Mcdonalds near by (neither my first choice!).
This hotel in my opinion is overpriced, I have stayed at this hotel 2 times in July and both times I have payed about £65.00 per night. To me this is over-priced for a travelodge they are afterall budget hotels.
The first time I went this hotel was ok as the hotel had just opened, in fact when it first opened they even provided toiletries free of charge but when I went back for the second time the toiletries were no longer being offered.
The rooms are modern but VERY basic however they are perfectly fine just to use as a base. tea and coffee facilities are provided (a kettle, 2 teabags, 2 coffee sachets,2 milks).

Reccomended?

I would reccomend this hotel only if they lower there prices so that they are more realistic.
The staff have always been poilite and friendly.

After discovering Travelodge last year, I was impressed. I have stayed in about 4 or 5 in different cities, and they are great. They are alwasy clean and spacious. The Perth Travelodge is in a great location, and has a regular bus service into the city centre, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee. I have stayed here several times now & for £26-£50 per night, who can complain? There is plenty parking at this Travelodge and Brewers Fayre next door, that does food and quiz nights! Would recommend this hotel to anyone!!

Stayed in this hotel while attending T in the Park. My boyfriend and I were booked in for one night only and quite honestly one night was enough!

The room was clean and basic as you can see from the photos. There wasn’t a hairdryer provided in the room so if you decide to stay there, and I recommend you don’t, you’ll have to bring one with you. No shower gel or shampoo were provided and only the very basics to make tea and coffee were left out for us.

The main problem with this hotel however was the staff. While I realise that they were busy that weekend I can honestly say that I have never experienced such poor hospitality in Scotland. It made me embarrassed to be Scottish!

My boyfriend and I arrived at the hotel too early for check in. Instead of being told politely what time to come back we were asked to leave the premises!!

We got back very much later that night with the rest of the festival goers. Two different members of staff were at the reception and they proceeded to give guests the wrong room numbers which caused chaos and must have created a racket for the guests who were sleeping. When we asked about breakfast, which we had previously been told was included in the price, we were told that we could purchase a box of dry cereal but that was it and we were asked to move along!!

Even when we went to check out the next day I gave them my room card back and was greeted with ‘Is that all…?’ by a receptionist who didn’t even look up from her computer.

Our stay cost us £90. The room certainly wasn’t worth the money we paid for it and the staff let the place down.

As a Scottish person myself if you want true Scottish hospitality don’t stay in this hotel!

Paid for room in advance with special rate of £26.
Room clean, big, warm comfortable, excellent shower.
Nice bar next door with good prices. A pint of lager for under £2.00. Not bad these days
Excellent location.
All in all a good place of the money and will use them again if needing a quick stop over. No fancy ammenities but for that price your not bothered.

Clean, good room size. A pig to find; the roads around perth are a nightmare. There is a brewers fare pub/restaurant opposite which provides substenance at reasonable prices. Travelodge can represent very good value for money these days.
