Had a group of 6 of us staying & we all had a superb time. The accommodation was very clean, spacious & impressive. The owners couldn't have been friendlier & this was a view we all shared. I can't think of a bad word to say about it!

Have not got enough space or words to say how much i enjoyed the stay. Beautiful elegant house,plenty of off road parking ( great for motorbikes ),brilliant spotless rooms with very good bathrooms,look out the shower its that good it could knock you over : ).the rooms had every conveinence and all those extra small touches that tells you you are being well looked after.The lounge is very comfortable and the food is very good,and the very best of all of my stay there was the price.I would stay here again.

We have just returnend from this hotel,what a lovely place to get away from it all,The host is a gentleman and his wife magi is a lovely lady.The room was small as explained to us but so beautiful and nice and cosy.We would defo recommend this hotel to anyone its a home from home experiance.The breakfast is also top notch and jimbo does a great job in kitchen..We will defo be back .

We have just returned from a night stay at Wellwood House..And loved it.

From the moment of check-in, we met the owner Jim, who is a great host. Knowledgeable of the area, helpful and very welcoming. It was like a home from home experience.

The house itself is beautiful , grand and graceful. But the room !!! We were in room 2 and it has the most fantasic view, and huge bed. Its a big room and the en-suite was airy as well as nicely, and tastefully decorated.

Breakfast was served by two lovely, pleasant girls, and cooked , it looked like....by Jim himself. I never have full cooked breakfast as often it appears greasy, but this was great food and well presented. Breakfast was a lovely experience

Would i recommend it to anyone ? Yes , and we liked it so much we are already booked to go back in May.

Well done Jim and Maggi , you have a real treasure here !
