My husband and I visited Blair Castle on our honeymoon, and it was by far my favorite of the Scottish castles we went to. The castle has been kept up beautifully, and visitors are allowed in many, many rooms. The interiors are amazing, as are the gardens. There is even a little cafeteria if you get hungry during your visit (we were quite pleased with the food).

Of all the castles we toured, this one was the best decorated. Rooms were excellent, with lots of displays and pieces of furniture to admire and look at. It was very well done. The grounds were wonderful, and you could spend as much time exploring the grounds as you did the castle. We explored Diana's Grove before the weather got the better of us, and it was full of just magnificent trees. Recommended!

blair castle was very lovely, we happened to go on a bright sunny day, which meant we could enjoy the gardens and walks nearby.

the castle itself is quite nice, with 30 or so rooms to wander through and explore. there is information in each room in several languages for those who do not speak english.

all in all we enjoyed the castle, although felt the price was a bit too high, but that's scotland - expensive attractions.
