Travelled from Edinburgh by Train to Pitlochry and walked to Guest house from the station (5 minutes). A warm welcome greeted us from Brian the owner of Carra Beag which immediately put us at ease. Our room was warm and cosy which was a relief after the near 0 degrees Centigrade outside. This quaint Guest house is centrally located which is ideal for sampling the delights of Pitlochry which include many pubs, hotel restraunts and lovely shops. After a comfortable night's sleep and a full Scottish breakfast we were ready for the next day's exploration. What a way to start our 2 week's holiday - perfect.
