Cobh is advertised as a quaint little coastal village that just happens to have been the last spot the Titanic touched land before leaving on it's final voyage. The home of a beautiful cathedral and residents with that small town Irish hospitality. I wish I could have visited at some point, back in time, when that statement was true.
It appears as though they took all of the over the top mania from the Titanic Movie Premiers worldwide and dropped them on this town. We had planned to spend an entire morning and have lunch in Cobh. We ended up leaving after an hour. The cathedral is imposing and impressive. Beautiful architectural features and an incredible view of the harbor are wonderful and very spiritual. My review ends here, my Mother always told me, if I don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
Cheers from Canada
