Farran House is a truly beautiful home. Approaching the house along its drive, you are immediately impressed by the building. The double front doors lead you into a huge hallway, and directly to a large staircase, which has two huge stain glass windows. The room was fantastic, with large beds in our family room, and a large en-suite with a bath & shower. The rooms are far apart, so you do not readily hear your neighbours. Breakfast is served at one large table, which encourages you to converse with other guests. The breakfast itself was limited and acceptible, but the place lacked a committed host. This was apparent when on our third and last morning, the breakfast was served by two eastern europeans, and the bill was in a printed A4 paper, which showed the business nature of the house. This was a house, not a home . We would not return, and one night's experience would have been enough.
