We arrived at the Hotel at 10 expecting to leave the bags and have to go out till we can check in, but nope our room was ready, checked in straight away and the receptionist was the most helpful, telling us where to go and pointing us in the right direction.

Location great for all of dublin, just don't forget your walking feet!

We stayed here for one night on a lightning trip to Dublin for my daughter's birthday. I booked via a website called xcapewithus and got an excellent rate - £84 for a twin room with full breakfast for two. Compared to many others on offer this was pretty cheap - Dublin is quite an expensive place. The location was superb: about 100 yards from an Aircoach stop in Merrion Square and about 250 yards from Grafton Street and right next door to Trinity College. There were lots of excellent restaurants in the area. We had a special meal booked at Jacob's Ladder which was just up the road - 5 minutes walk.
Our room was a twin on the first floor facing the road with a nice view of Merrion Square. I wondered if it would be noisy but the double glazing must be good because it was really quiet. The room was nicely furnished with dark wood and the bathroom was small but attractive with granite tops and lots of marble tiles and mahogany. Big flat screen tv and very comfortable beds.
Breakfast was very good - a hot and cold buffet and you could watch the world go by outside while you ate. Staff were friendly and helpful.
All in all a very good experience and I would certainly return here again on a future visit to Dublin. It was really comfortable and a perfect location.

A fair bet if you got a good price (I paid 85 Euro/night for a double, having booked over the website of Rynair). It's central and my room towards the back was very quiet. The bathroom was clean. The only drawback was the foul-smelling water running out of the tap and the shower, which kept changing from warm to boiling-hot and back again.

Just come back from a 3 night stay here, location is great and the hotel is nice and quiet - staff very obliging when you need them but leave you alone when you don't. Comfortable rooms, relaxing and laid back. Would stay again as reasonable price.
