We booked thru this website. It was nice, clean, quiet. The room was small (we had two twin beds) but had everything we needed: towels, hair dryer, extra pillows and blankets. It's on a side street off O'Connell St., near the Post Office, also near the Tourist info cennter & tour buses. Walking distance to the quays and Temple Bar. We stayed one night in June 2008. They held our luggage for us as we arrived before check-in time. We did not add on the breakfast option as it seemed a bit more expensive than what we could get nearby.

    • Liked — It had an elevator, and the street it was on was quiet in the evening/mornings.
    • Disliked — Nothing I can think of.

This hotel has very small rooms but is in the best location right in the centre of Dublin. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great.

this hotel is really nice fo being a 3*** hotel, it's clean, modern, the staff is nice ( even if some of them don't really know doblin), 5 minutes walk from the station. The position is really comfortable, you'll always find it, thanks to the spire :D many places to get some food around . The prices are really good for that position & quality in Dublin.Even if I prefer more distinctive places I would definitely come back.

We stayed in Days Inn Dublin Talbot Street hotel from 27th to 29th May 2008. The hotel is magnificently situated, approximately 5-minute walk form O’Connell Street, Dublin’s high street. The room was clean and tidy, but definitely too small. The service was nice and competent. The weakest point was breakfast – one cannot complain about the continental option, but full Irish breakfast was simply not tasty at all.

This hotel is exactly where you want to be in Dublin. Its just a 5 minute walk from O'Connell street, you're right nearby a ton of restaurants and shop. Just 5 minutes from all the tour bus stops. The rate was fantastic for the location.
YES the room is tiny. Very tiny! But this is Europe, and you're not here to linger in your room.
If you are elderly or disabled, or perhaps just like a more loungey room then this is not for you.
If you are here to enjoy the city, have a clean bed and bathroom at night with a modern look (fresh white douvet and linens), then this is perfect.
Free WiFi was a nice perk. The front desk staff was helpful and got us some discounted tickets to the Hop On Hop Off bus tour.
Guinness Tour is overrated and not worth the cost. If you want the "real" Guinness experience, ask a tax driver to take you to a good local pub and share a Guinness with your new friends.
