A party of 8 adults and 1 child stayed 2 nights for one of our party to run the Dublin Marathon, can't recommend this hotel enough! The staff from reception to house keeping were all so polite and helpfull! the rooms adequate and clean maybe a bit too warm but the windows opened, so we stayed comfortabel. The breakfast was amazing! Anything you wanted the staff did their best to provide! We were rather late the morning of the Marathon and held the staff back, but they never rushed us. We will be back.

stayed at Buswells for the first time 11th/14th Nov and we were very pleased with all aspects of our stay, the staff are very welcoming and it seems nothing is too much trouble plus the room / food / service is also first class.
We are regular visitors to Dublin and will now make Buswells our first choice especially as the location is so central and a few minutes walk from Grafton street.
Well done the team at Buswells.

In terms of location you couldn't do better than Buswell's in Dublin. 5 second walk to Dail/Leinster House (not that you might visit it but nice to have a historical building that close), National Library and National Archaeology Museum 10 seconds, St. Stephen's Green 1 minute, Grafton St/ 2 minutes, Trinity College/Book of Kells 4 minutes. You get the idea, great location.
The staff were very friendly at all times of the day. The room was bigger than I expected and very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was good, continental and cooked included. The overnight parking just around the corner included in the price was also a very nice bonus.
There were just 2 of us this time and it was ideal. We asked about family rooms and here they are limited. One triple room and a number of rooms where a fold-out bed could be added. Still if you get one of these rooms I would recommend highly for a family with young children.

Room tip: Room 97 was very quiet and was in a wing separated from most other rooms.

This is our second stay at the Hotel. This time with family. Great hotel with staff that are so helpful and friendly. The rooms are comfortable (we had a triple family room) and very clean. The beds are one of the best for a good nights sleep. Its a great location and the bar is very good for either drinks, bar food or afternoon tea. The ambience in the bar is great.
While we were there the fire alarm went off twice in the early hours. The next day when we went to breakfast they apologised for the alarms and went on to say the breakfast is complementary for the inconvenience caused. That is the sort of customer care that we would like to see elsewhere. Other members of our family said they would return to this hotel again as it impressed them.

This is an expensive hotel to stay in and I thought about booking cheaper hotel but in the end was very happy booked Buswells. Had lovely and reasonable meal on Saturday evening in hotel bar. Then went to event in Buswells function room and afterwards chatted in front lobby. Had been up at 6am so was tired and left wallet on table. Went to bed and got up early 6am to get airport bus from street adjacent to hotel. Could not find wallet. After mad search, rang reception with very little hope and they had it!!! What can I say. Thank you so much. If you want to stay in safe, comfortable, central hotel this is it.
