I stayed at the Conrad with colleagues while on a business trip to Dublin. The service was wonderful -- they allowed us to check in extremely early when we arrived at the hotel at 6am, and they didn't act put-upon or anything. My room had a nice fluffy robe and spa slippers -- a nice touch. The bathroom was among the cleanest I've ever seen, and the tub was so nice I actually took a bath. The in-room breakfasts were delicious -- I wish I could eat breakfast there every morning. So good. Room service was also pretty tasty. I can't speak to the restaurant, but I will say that my colleague ate dinner in the restaurant one night and thought the service was poor.

The price was very reasonable for what you got. I paid $205 per night. I would absolutely stay there again.

We stayed here over 'Paddy's' Weekend, hotel was very nice, all you would expect from a Conrad Hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, well furnished although i think the bathrooms were disapointing for what is apparently a 5* Hotel...

Location is good, nicely away from the main areas but being close enough that you can stroll to restaurants for dinner with out any problems.

We ate in the restaurant one night and the food and service was very good indeed.

If i wanted to stay in Dublin again i would definetly stay here.

“Really comfortable hotel”

Stayed at the Conrad with my husband over St Patricks day. A really nice welcome, efficient and helpful check in staff, friendly and helpful consierge staff. Room was lovely and big - we had a superior king. The bed was really comfortable with lovely high quality linen which felt very luxurious. The bathroom also very nice. The turn down service and the complimentary overnight shoe shine service was a nice touch. Breakfast was excellent and the service was good even though the hotel was full of St Patricks day visitors. Excellent location, nice 5 min walk across Stephens Green to Grafton St.

“Nice hotel - pity about the service”

My wife & I booked the stay with Hilton Honors points. As a Gold card holder you are entitled to free breakfast or a room upgrade...we chose the breakfast because the business room that was offered was no better than the standard room. The buffet breakfast was excellent although service was extremely slow, there were only 2 waitresses who were rushed off their feet. The lady seating the guests did nothing but that, and watched eveyone waiting for service.

We were checked in by a young lady who was obviously fairly new to the job and had to keep asking a senior member of staff what to do next.. no problem we all have to learn sometime. However every time the phone rang she answered it and made us wait. The other members of staff just stood and watched. None of the front desk staff seemed particularly interested in helping (or smiling).

There was one exception - the hotel porters were definately the friendliest members of staff, they were helpful, knowlegeable and willing to share their local knowledge with you.

The bedroom was a decent size, the bedding was amazing, had a great nights sleep. Turndown service was a nice touch. Bathroom toiletries were amongst the best I've seen on my travels; a separate shower & bath is also good to see.

Overall a nice hotel, would probably stay here again, but not for the extortionate rates I've seen quoted on the Hilton website.

“Great location and lovely hotel”

This is a great hotel in a fab location - there are some good restaurants nearby and it's close to everything without being too noisy at night. The rooms are lovely and large and the staff are friendly. We'd definitely recommend this hotel.
