Yet another stay at the Trinity and still can not fault the service, cleanliness or food and tthis time was lucky to have one of the few rooms with a balcony.

In all the years I have stayed here it was the first time that I have seen children and the stay was marred by breakfast baby hell on the final day. When I entered the bar area I was deafened by peircing screams from a baby whose parents preferred to ignore its distress while they took photographs and blocked the stairs by the piano with the pram. Fortunately they left but there was more screaming the in restaurant from another baby whose parents left the pram obstructing the breakfast bar. Hardly the best environment to read though notes in preparation for a business meeting.

Children represent a tiny percentage of the hotel guests but cause immense irritation and disturbance for everyone else. Management should therefore ban children and market the hotel as a the ideal place for a holiday, romantic weekend or for business trips with the guarantee of a pleasant and relaxing environment.

Hi Goldhawk,

Thank you so much for taking the time to post a review following your recent stay with us. . Great to see you loved our balcony rooms. On your next visit we do have quieter areas to do some work out of the way of noise if you wish.

I do hope it is not too long before we have the pleasure of welcoming you back to us for a business trip again.

Stayed here during August with our 2 young kids. We received absolutely excellent service from Daria at reception who sorted out an issue with our room due to the booking being made through a third party travel website. She was awesome and could not do enough for us.
Apart from this, the hotel is in a great location and is clean with lovely decor. Breakfast has plenty to choose from and is of good quality.
Would recommend and will use again for future trips to Dublin.

Just returned from a 2 night stay with my boyfriend and we had a lovely time. Found the room we were in first a bit small so rang to see could we change it. The lovely girl who was front desk manager and DM for the evening rang me back up and gave us a comp upgrade. The new room was absolutely lovely we couldnt have asked for a nicer room we especially loved the jacuzzi bathtub. The hotel is in such a great location we walked everywhere for the 2 days. We got the pizza after 10 and it was nice other than that the only food we had was a bowl of soup which we found quite bland but the brown bread (with nuts in) was lovely. I also asked for a sandwich but was told the chefs were in a meeting and speciality food (a ham and mozzarella cheese toastie) was not available. I found this very strange at 12.30 in the day but that was the only issue we really had! Other than that we had a lovely stay and would probably go back!

Have to say, when we first turned up at this hotel on 13th November 2014 I was a little disappointed.......the room we were originally given could hear everything that was going on in the other room....I could even hear that they weren't speaking English it was that loud......well, in fact the people weren't talking loud it was just obviously a very thin wall......this was room 128. I then complained and we were moved straight away to 268 and this room was fantastic! On booking I had asked for extra pillows and towels and these weren't in either room however after a call to reception this was very quickly rectified. Amazing location to all the main places to visit...comfortable and clean. Didn't eat here so unable to comment on other facilities apart from the room and location. Would stay here again

Room tip: 268 was a lovely room.....we moved rom 128
