I found out about this hotel here in Trip Advisor. I was going to book another hotel and many Trip Advisor fellow posters told me to choose this are, Stephen's Green, and they were not mistaken. It's the perfect starting point to explore Dublin. We were only one/two blocks away from what seems to be one of the meeting points in Dublin, where Grafton St. starts, just opposite Stephen Green's Park. The hotel is very nice, not quite a 4-star, but a very good 3. The bed was king size, the bathroom impecable, lcd tv, ironing board, coffee/tea machine in the room, which had a very good size and cupboard. We had a standard room and it was perfect, don't know about the others but the size was ok for a couple, I wouldn't advise you to pay an extra charge for anything bigger. The gym was well equipped and there is a business centre in the basement, although you had to pay a fee to use it. I hope they change this policy in the future. Internet access in hotels of this category should be free. Breakfast was expensive: Euros 16 per person, but there are plenty of cafes nearby, where you can have a great b-fast for Euros 5. There is also a nice bar downstairs where you can watch a rugby match or have a drink, even grab sthg to eat at reasonable prices. The staff members were nice but would not go over the edge to help you. I needed an adaptor for my plugs, for instance, but no one could help me with this, not even telling me where I could get one myself. However, I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, cleanliness and, overall, its PERFECT LOCATION !
