“Would absolutely tell friends to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 August 2011

at Aaron House! I am surprised to read other posts with negative comments, we had such a good stay. After a trip to Aran Islands (terrible service by PaddyWagon, would NOT tell a friend to go with them) we had a really nice room at A, two King size beds in a very clean and spacious room. Staff really friendly, breakfast standard Irish à la minute, location excellent. Day two of the trip was grand, going with Paul from Healys in Galway. Go for Connemara with them and stay at Aaron House!

“Worst B&B in 14 years of experince”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 August 2011

Over all really bad experince. Showed up at 4pm. Staff was not friendly. Rooms are way below par. Bathrooms are nasty and small. Don't know how some had a good experince. Only good thing is free WiFi to write this review. Never again. I hope breakfast tomorrow is amazing but doubtful. Tv does not fully work.

“Terrible place...but I guess it all depends on where you are coming from.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 August 2011

We were totally ripped off by paddy wagon tours and placed here...disgusting. Breakfast was dry cereal, a yogurt , juice , coffee. OR the irish breakfast which was toast, one egg, and bacon or sausage. The person working the room actually asked me if she could pour the bottom of the coffee pot into my cup so she could make a fresh pot. Nasty place.
The view out my window onto their back patio was a line of thin towels hanging out..next morning still there.

I Cant say enough good things about this bnb, the location was excellent it was a 5 miniute walk from galway city but yet it was in a peacfull area. Also the owners of the bnb were two lovely people who went out of their way to help us. One the first night of arrival we were freezing and the owner made us all tea and sat with us and advised us on where to go sighseeing, shopping etc. She made us feel very and home. The room was lovely and spaceious and there was wi-fi aviable wich was great! The food was also good there was everything we needed and more. I will definatly be returing to stay in this bnb.

“A delightful stay in Galway City”

My stay in Aaron House B&B was enjoyable. I have stayed in many B&B's before this and Aaron House is definitely in the top 5. When I first arrived I was welcomed Ena Burke. I had been travelling all day and was very tired but the owner was very pleasant. She helped me with my bags and directed me to my room. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable. The next morning I was greeted by Seamus who directed me to the dinning room where I was served a full Irish breakfast. The food and service was great. Seamus was very helpful in telling me about the various attractions around Galway City. I wanted to take a trip out to Salthill and he told me what bus to take and searched up the times for me as well. When I returned from Salthill, I had arranged to meet some friends of mine in a pub, Seamus wrote down the directions for me and also advised me to go to the local pub and restaurant and pub for food.
All in all I had a wonderful stay. The staff and service was great and it was very homely and I hope to return again.
