We thought we were going to have a great time at this b&b. Greeted my a nice man who was helpful about the town. Then from there it went DOWN HILL!!!
Bedroom that I stayed in room 36. It was less then basic it was bare! two beds and a kettle!! The beds where hard and lumpy, the pillows where bricks (I used my scarf to sleep on.!) The towels looked like they had been cut in to smaller sizes to save money!! BUT!! what was worse was the service. I had never stayed in a b&b in Ireland so in the morning we went down stairs for breakfast, 85% full. So I sat down looked around the room and found the juice in the corner. got up helped myself. We waited for someone to greet us, and waited and waited. Now I didnt want to be rude and shout across the room:) so I politely tried to make eye contact no luck! This went on for 30 minutes I tried to wave a little nothing! The person serving did not look up ran in with toast for other tables and ran out. Finally!!!! I got up and politely asked them if I could get some tea and order my breakfast. I got a grunt from the man who was nothing like the one I met the night before during my checkin. So I sat back down and waited some and got my tea and waited another 25 minutes for a pretty basic breakfast. All in all it took over and hour to get my breakfast. I left that morning in a bad mood! That night I checked out and went across the road to try my luck at College Crest Guesthouse.
