Faultless in terms of hospitality and a strong wish to ensure that guests have a great time while staying in the area.
A particular feature was the attention paid to my elderly mother, who had suffered a fall on her way to the accommodation and who had restricted mobility as a result. In our brief stay Conor and Bridget made her feel so welcome and comfortable; it was heartwarming to see such genuine kindness and goodness.

My daughter and I stayed at Gleann Fia last summer. I absolutely cherish the time that we spent there and in Killarney. Bridget and Conor were so helpful. They arranged for many tours for us, called cabs for us, and went out of their way to make sure that we would have a great time in Killarney. From there, we toured all of Kerry County, ate dinner at their recommended restaurants in Killarney, and, in general, had the best five days of our trip to Ireland. The house is as lovely as the hosts. Everything is spotless. There are interesting things to look at in the common areas, music to enjoy, and books to read. The dog and cat were endlessly entertaining to watch through the solarium windows at the beautifully served breakfast. Our room was pretty and comfortable. The bathroom was lovely. I would recommend this B & B to anyone.

A friend and I recently stayed at the Gleann Fia for 3 nights whilst in Kerry. It really enhanced our holiday and after long days driving around it was a pleasure to return and have such excellent friendly service at all times. The guest house is set in beautiful surroundings close enough to the centre of killarney but far enough away to feel like a retreat. We had no problems finding the location as it is set just off one of the main roads. We really enjoyed our stay, the room was spacious and the house was immaculate. I would definitely recommend this guesthouse to anyone wishing to stay in this area.

Gleann Fia is in a secluded and quiet location with a babbling stream running through the property. We had a nice sized room - it could have accommodated a 3rd person. Wonderful bathroom, plenty of room and an excellent shower. We enjoyed a glass of wine in the solarium honor bar and enjoyed the wonderful views of the surrounding woods.

You could walk to city center, but it would be a stretch and would involve crossing a very busy road (N22). It would also be very dark if you returned in the evening. We enjoy walking, but chose to drive. Parking, in October, was easy to come by in Killarney. Breakfast was very nice; more that I needed, but that seems to be the routine in Ireland.

Bridget gave us wonderful recommendations for dinner - enyoyed Bricins thoroughtly.
