“Excellent hospitality”

Woodlands Bed & Breakfast

What a great place to stay! Paud and Julia make you feel very welcome. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, with very comfortable beds and an excellent choice of breakfasts. Not only are they fabulous hosts, but will also double as tour guides should the need arise by giving advice and booking trips to the many local beauty spots. For walkers, the area is a haven of natural beauty with the National Park across the road and the town centre a 15 minute walk away. There are also many golf courses locally.
Having stayed at Woodlands on honeymoon 8 years ago, we have returned on numerous occasions since and intend to continue doing so. There is nowhere in this area where you receive a warmer welcome than that from Paud and Julia

When ever I come to Killarney, I stay at Woodlands. Paud and Julia O'Donoghue have always been kind, friendly and helpful. I first stayed at Woodlands in September, 2005. I stayed for 23 nights. I had no reservation. I was trying to move to Ireland and just appeared. I booked in at the Tourist Office upon arriving in Killarney. Paud and Julia welcomed me in and found someway to let me stay while I found an apartment. I had to change rooms frequently, but I never had to sleep on the couch. Paud would always greet me warmly in the morning for breakfast and ask how things were going. They never made me feel that I should move on. I was welcome till I found a place. And because of that, I feel very close to them. I have returned to Killarney twice since returning to the States and have stayed at Woodlands both times. I stayed at two other B&Bs before finding Woodlands. I did not have a bad time at either of the other two. I have found for the greatest part, that everyone in Killarney, whether restaurants, pubs, retail shops and accomidations to be friendly and helpful. I might be biased in this review, but that would be Paud and Julia's fault for taking such good care of me. I f you are going to Killarney, I highly reccommend the Woodlans B&B to stay at.

Respectfully, Kav Lawie

Woodlands BB is very comfortable for me, I found this place in hotel website and try it and woodlands BB is not disappoited me.
Just about 100 metres to go to the national park and the road to "Ring of Kerry" is in front of the hotel. Breakfast in the morning is very nice and the owner is very kind for all customer.
I just want to say that "Good in everything" and if I have a chance to go to Killarney again Woodlands will be the name of the hotel that come up first in my mind.

I stayed here the third week of November. Killarney was beautiful that time of year. Still had fall foliage on the trees.
This B+B was close enough near town but also very quiet.
The owners are extremely friendly and made us feel at home.
My room was very clean and my window overlooked a farm with sheep grazing.

We had a full Irish breakfast in the morning and were greeted with a warm friendly chat with the owners.

For everything the price was extremely reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

A bright, cheerful room with bath ("en suite") in a park area of Killarney, Ireland. Near the Ring of Kerry, it's run by Patrick (Pawdy) & Julie O'Donoghue. Pawdy will also arrange for bus tours of the Ring of Kerry; they pick you up and deliver you back at the house! Breakfast includes your choice of cereals, egg style, toast & jellies, etc., with coffee, tea & juice. Very nice and friendly folks to help you find your way, too!
