Our room was on the second floor and appeared new. It had a double and a twin bed which were comfortable, and a full-size, six-foot bathtub. The sitting room on the main floor was very nice, as was the breakfast room. Breakfast was good, although half an hour late. They have nice grounds with a big grass front yard and hedges surrounding the property. I would recommend this bed & breakfast.

The Redwood Country House was a good stay. it's located outside of Killarney so you can't walk into town but we didn't find that to be a problem. There was quite a bit of traffic getting into town though, which suprised me, but it could have been the Eater holiday weekend. The town and surroundings have tons to offer, lots of shopping, restaurants, beautiful scenery, etc. We didn't spend much time at the B&B, but we had a warm welcome, slept well in a large, clean room and had a lovely breakfast the next day. I would recommend a stay at this B&B, the hosts are lovely.

This is a realy nice B & B, situated 5 minutes outside of Killarney. The house is beautiful and extremelly well maintained. The bedrooms are well appointed and very clean. Breakfast was served in a beautiful dinning area.

Redwood was the second B&B on our month long trip across Ireland and the UK and it was practically the one to which we compared all the others!

The rooms were spacious, clean and the view of the gardens from our room was spectacular. The bathroom was also quite large for Europe and the shower was excellent! The rooms were cleaned every day, the tea supplies replenished... overall, the rooms were wonderful.

The property itself is beautiful, on lovely manicured lawns with interesting plantings and little nooks to walk around in and admire. There are several different sitting areas outside and some wonderful sitting areas inside. The lounge/sitting room was fabulous with great views and comfortable chairs and couches.

As others have said, the breakfasts were great, large portions to get you going for long days of sightseeing on the Ring of Kerry or the Dingle Peninsula, and there were at least 6 customizable choices for breakfast, as well!

Evelyn was great, helping us with driving directions, maps, church service times, everything! She was informative and helpful without being intrusive. This was one of our best stays of the trip.
