My group of friends was on a road trip of Ireland through Sceptre Tours. Chaplin's was our first on the road overnighter. First the coordinates for the GPS were wrong, we kept ending up at private residences. Someone in one of them was able to tell us where we were supposed to have been. An eighth of a mile away on the other side of the road. Enough with the u-turns. I was the DD, so while I parked, others notified whoever that we had arrived and checked us in. I never met her. It is a rather large B&B- a veritable warren of rooms and steps. Our room was small and crowded. There was a twin and double bed, a built in wardrobe with a small seat for the mirror. If you wanted to lounge, there was only a common room. The bed was not comfy. WiFi was limited-needed to be in the dining room. The bathroom was small but clean (+). Breakfast was very good, communing with the other guests was fun and informative. The women who served breakfast were pleasant but were limited in recommendations for travel routes and local points of interest not always in the travel books. When we figured out that we needed to be further west at our next stop, it was not hard to decide not to spend another night here.
