We had a great time at Byrnes Grove. Our 2 year old son thoroughly enjoyed himself especially feeding the animals.
Jim and Laura were exceptional hosts, offering a warm and friendly welcome. We would recommend Byrnes Grove without hesitation.

If you want a memorable farm experience, this is the place for you. Small country farm with cows, goats, ponies, sheep, ducks, chickens, rabbits, dogs, cats and even a friendly bull. It's a 100 year old farm house, completely updated and redesigned. Attractive pine interior. Our room was clean, spacious, airy. Pastural view from our window of grazing cows. Very peaceful. Our son had a fabulous time playing with the puppies, and helping feed all the animals. Our host, Jim, was very accommodating, friendly. He gave guests tours of the farm and included our son in farm activities. We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. It's a short ride into Kilkenny, a beautiful medieval town. BTW we paid 85 Euro for 2 adults and a child.
