Once we found the hotel (Magellan user issue), we were quite pleased with the modern feel and openness. The staff was very helpful and the room was quite nice. Three adults stayed in one room, which was fine spacewise. We were on the street so we had a little city noise, but the view of the Shannon was fabulous. The breakfast was fine, and the dining space easily accomodated 2 tour buses and regular travelers. I wish we had been able to stay 2 nights here to take in the sights of Limerick more thoroughly.

We stayed at this Jurys Inn after a fantastic experience at the Jurys Inn at Milton Keynes just before Christmas. The two hotels could not have been more different...

We stayed for one night after flying in to Shannon, for which it is pretty convenient. Arriving in the evening, we were directed to our room on the ground floor, but before we got there we had to edge past about 30 bags of laundry that were sitting in the passageway. Our room looked OK, but a bit tatty. On closer inspection, there were stains on the base of the bed, the corners of the bed were completely worn away and the paintwork in the bathroom was peeling off. Our room was noisy as it was on the ground floor looking directly onto the street.

We had a drink in the bar downstairs which was fine.

The real problems started at 3am when we were woken up by drunks crashing about outside our room even though we were right at the end of the corridor. Over the next two hours we had three sets of people knocking on our door and one person tried to get into the room. Thankfully we had locked the door. If I had been staying here on my own I would have been terrified.

After all this we were glad to get a few hours sleep, but we were then woken at 9am by staff wanting to clean our room. We gave up and fled.

This was our 3rd visit to this hotel and we were again not disappointed. From checking in at midnight to checking out we found the staff to be very courteous and helpful. Our rooms were spacious and overlooked the Shannon. We had all we needed and they were cleaned daily. There is a lovely bar where we partook in a few Guinnesess on the Thursday as were were too late to go out on the town. The hotel is very central and therefore an excellent base. We had frineds all over the town so this was great for us.
A special thankyou to Patrick Reddan, the Manager, who was extremely helpful when making our booking and couldn't have made our stay any more pleasant.
I'm sure we will be back to Limerick very soon and we'll be staying in Jurys for sure.

Recently took a midweek break here and must say it was a very enjoyable experience, check in was very fast and efficent and we were informed about the facilities,went to the room which was very clean and tidy,maybe a little refurb wouldnt hurt, went for a drink in the bar,and to be greeted by a very pleasent girl,Anna who couldnt do enough for us,
Dinner that night was lovely nd again the service was excellent, a nice lady violet looked after us very well and when i asked about my travel companion padraigs special needs diet she was most accomodating,the hotel is right in the city centre,close to all the major ammeneties and nightlife,over all it was a great stay and i will be back
