Hi folks,

We stayed at the Dooneen Lodge in the beginning of August. It has several spacious bedrooms that are nice and clean! The place is just outside Limerick in a quiet area and you need only a few minutes to get downtown. It's one of those places you would not expect! And the lady of the house can recommand you the best meals.

We stayed at the Dooneen Lodge our last night in Ireland. As it turned out, we saved the best for last. The room and bath were very nice and spacious. The hostess was very gracious and accommodating and the breakfast was wonderful. I'm recommending this B&B to my brother who is planning a trip to Ireland soon.

We stayed at the Dooneen Lodge at the beginning of July 04 and we enjoyed our stay very much!!
After having arranged our affairs in the bedrooms we have been informed about Limerick, its must have seens and its restaurants.
The Dooneen Lodge is a very quiet place with very low traffic and therefore we all could sleep very well.
The breakfast was also nice.
Before our departure we were given tips for the continueing of our trip.

So the host-family is very kind and friendly...we had a great stay and we can recommend the Dooneen Lodge to everybody.

We spent the first night of our honeymoon at the Dooneen Lodge. Noreen, the proprieter, gave us the warmest welcome, and made sure we caught up on our rest so we could start our vacation with the right mindset. The bedroom was very nicely appointed, and the gardens were beautiful! Noreen gave us very useful travel advice that I know made our trip better because of it. She even taught me how to make a REAL Irish Coffee, which she served that evening! I would highly recommend to all....
