My family and I just returned from holiday in Ireland. We had the oppurtunity to visit the Dooneen Lodge. It was a lovely stay and I would definitly return. The couple who owns the Inn were very hospitable and made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The atmosphere was lovely and the rooms were kept quite clean. A delicious breakfast was served to us daily. What a way to start the day!!! It was my first time in Ireland and I will have to say my expierence at the Dooneen Lodge fullfilled all my expectations of how a Irish bed and breakfst would be. I will definitly be back to visit Tom and Noreen at the lodge.

I have just come back from my stay at the Dooneen Lodge. It was the best Bed and Breakfast I have ever stayed at. I highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast because of the extremely thoughtful and considerate proprietors. The atmosphere is delightful and Tom and Noreen are wonderful hosts. They make your stay in Ireland pleasant. Sincerely, Patty

San Diego CA We stay at this Bed and Breakfast for a week and it was awesome the breakfast was great, very friendly people and we plan on recomending it to all our friends and are planning to stay there again next year when we go back for anotjher trip, apsolutely fabolous...

I have stayed at Dooneen lodge several times since 2004. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast is great! Noreen is a great hostess and makes you feel very welcome. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dooneen Lodge as an excellent place to stay whilst visiting Limerick.

We came to Limerick for a swimming competition and stayed at the Dooneen Lodge for 2 nights. We were entirely happy with our accommodation - very welcoming, comfortable beds and we were made to feel at home. I think our lasting memory will be the breakfasts - home made Soda bread, porridge to die for & sausage, bacon & eggs cooked perfectly.
Such a friendly place. We think the breakfasts were responsible for the 15 gold medals we won in the swimming competition!!
Would recommend the Dooneen Lodge whole-heartedly.
