We stayed at Dooneen Lodge for a full week and had all 3 rooms for our party of 6. All 3 rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The linens were great, too. We didn't want to get out of bed in the morning! All 3 rooms had their own bathroom. The room with 2 twin beds had it's bathroom across the hall, but it was the biggest bathroom(it was huge), and it was very nice. Breakfasts were delicious, too. Tom and Noreen were so warm and welcoming, and we enjoyed our chats with them very much. Their yard is big enough for our 3 sons to play ball. I would definitely stay with them again.

Absolutely the best B&B I have visited in Ireland. The hostess treats her guest like gold, rooms are very clean and the food is plentiful and delicious. I would recommend Dooneen Lodge without hesitation to couples and singles. I stayed for over a week while working at the university, and I was always treated well and cared for beyond what I expected.

I booked a trip to Ireland to visit my daughter who was studing abroad for a semester. When I emailed for the reservation Noreen responded promptly. Noreen also confirmed my arrival time prior to the trip. It was nice to know that I could feel confident about my accomadations upon arrival. Both Tom and Noreen are exceptionally nice people. They made our stay more pleasurable than anticipated. If you are planning a trip to Ireland, I highly recommend staying at the Doneen Lodge. You will not be disappointed. I would like to personnally thank Tom and Noreen for being so gracious. This is the best Bed and Breakfast I have ever stayed at.

We were treated like royalty. The breakfast each morning was like a banquet and warmly served by our gracious hostess. Our hosts were knowledgeable and more than helpful. The accommodations were luxurious yet relaxed and comfortable. This is a place I will definitely look forward to return to.
