We stayed in the Quality Hotel on the Sunday and Monday night of the October weekend. I must admit we were very apprehensive after reading one of the reviews on tripadvisor. I decided to ring the hotel directly and voice my concerns re gunfire etc. I was assured by the manager that the 'gunfire' heard was fireworks, and that we had nothing to worry about. She was right. We had a great stay. Wayne was fantastic on reception when we checked in. The rooms were spotless and a good size, with everything you needed. The food in the restaurant was fine, though I would have been happier if I had the choice of a sirloin steak at an extra cost instead of just having to stick to the minute steak on menu for dinner. Breakfast was great. There was a great duo in the bar on Sunday night and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.One word of warning though if you decide to have a massage, don't expect soft music and candles like I did. Glaring lights, no scented oil, though I booked an aromatherapy back and shoulder massage, It was more of an assault! My back was sore for days after! But that said I would reccommend this hotel to anyone.

Having paid 2p for Ryanair flights to Shannon I was looking for a cheap and cheerful change of scenery. This hotel was definitely that at £100 for 2 nights room only for a family room.

It is about 5 minutes drive out of the main town but easy enough to find. Check in was quick and painless and our room was a very good size with one double and two proper single beds rather than a pull down couch like you get so many places.

Plentiful fluffy towels, toiletries and clean crisp sheets made it very pleasant. The TV had multiple channels and even a built in DVD player. The hotel leisure club offers a DVD library, which is complimentary and only requires a refundable deposit.

The night we arrived the restaurant was very busy so we dined in the bar. It was fine for a quick bite, my only negative comment being that the menu was very limited. I checked out the restaurant menu for the following night but again it was a bit bland so we decided against it. There are not many alternative eating options in the immediate area (except Subway) but the town centre is only a short trip away.

The pool and leisure club are spotless and the free, plentiful parking is a definite bonus. There is also a Tesco within walking distance for any forgotten essentials.

My boyfriend and myself stayed in the hotel a few weeks ago.
He surprised me with the romantic weekend break for my birthday. To be honest I wasn't very excited about going to Limerick but I must say that the accommodation really made up for it. I had heard bad things about Limerick in the past but we had an absolute ball there. Our room was fabulous and it was brilliant that the leisure centre was there for us.
The staff were extremely helpful and the food in the restaurant was amazing! It was so good that we ended up eating there all weekend.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

Only stayed one night in the New Quality Hotel in LImerick. Was staying in the hotel for business as I had a meeting in the hotel the following morning. The receptionist that checked me in was very friendly and professional at her job. I was assisted to my room by John one of the porters as i need help with some of boxes for the conference the following morning. The rooms was very spacious and had everything I required for my visit. I only had a light snack in the bar but was very tasty. The conference the following day went off very smoothly with the help of the porter team - So thank you Quality Hotel. Being so near the city I still was able to pop in to visit a few shops. Thanks again to for the very enjoyable trip to the Quality Hotel Limerick.
