My boyfriend and I stayed here on the May bank holiday weekend. We had previously stayed in the Quality Hotels in Killarney and really liked it.

Had heard somethings about the location both on here and from people at work.

Arrived at the hotel around 3pm and went to check in. The lobby was really busy and there seemed to be alot of youth club and basketballs clubs staying there and there was a lot of noise in the lobby.

The girl on reception told us our room was not ready yet and explained we could wait in the bar or in the leisure centre, we decided to go to the Crescent shopping centre which is about a 5-10 min drive away. We spent about on hour there and came back to the hotel where our room was now ready and we checked in.

The room was lovely and clean. We then went to leisure centre.Which again is really nice. everything was clean had no complaints. We went back to the room and relaxed for a while. rang the restaurant about 6 to see if we could get a reservation for dinner but earliest reservation was 9.15 so we decided to get something in the bar. We went down to the bar which again was really busy and noisey. My boyfriend went to the bar to get a menu and the barman took about 5 mns to find one!!!!We went to order and the waitress told us it would be at least 30 mn wait for food!!!!!We got a few drinks and waited.
I accidently knocked over my drink and broke the glass. We went up to the bar to hand up the broken glass and ask for someone to clean it up as I had spilt it on the floor but could not get anyones attention,I found napkins myself and cleaned the table.

Our meals arrived and it was very nice. I had the burger and boyfriend had the steak but was hard to enjoy it with the crown and noise around.

We had a few more drinks and had an early night. Had breakfast the next morning which was self service and it was ok. We checked out with no problems.

Don't think I would go back. I found the staff in the bar very unhelpful and slow. Reception staff ok and rooms very nice. Nice hotel pity about the location.

Nice clean hotel, staff very unhelpful and ignorant.
Was mistaken for a member of a Welsh junior rugby team staying at the hotel and was given a very unpleasent reply, every time I asked for help. Hotel room keys constant problem, had to change keys 4 times in 3 nights.
Gypsy camp across road, with the locals allowed to use hotel bar.
Would not stay again!!

Just back for the most relaxing weekend away in the Quality Limerick. The hotel itself is a contemporay hotel that works so well on many levels. While bright, spacious & modern, its also has a very friendly and prossional team who ensure that your visit is as comfortable & satisfying as it can be. A great advantage was the use of Internet service in the lobby or bedroom areas, Also the use of complimentary underground carparking was a plus. Be it for work or leisure, I would def recommend this hotel for furture travellers to Limerick area.

I must say that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Quality hotel Limerick last month.

A group of us had a beautiful meal in the restaurant for a very reasonable price.
Hotel is only a quick taxi ride into the city centre.
Overall this establishment is first-class and we found the staff very pleasant and polite.
I would highly recommend this hotel when visiting Limerick for a weekend break.

hotel is relatively new I think 2 years old but the location leads a lot to be desired and across the road is an itenerant site with some rough looking characters not safe to go out for a walk in fact very frightening.
Leisure centre is fantastic with a large pool and gym area would stay again in this hotel if it was in a different location.
