I'm a regular visitor to the Shannon area as my company has an office there. Being an avid collector of Reward points, I was looking forward to my stay at this new hotel in Limerick.
My anticipation was very well rewarded! As soon as my taxi arrived at the front door, a well dressed man collected my bags and took me into reception. Check in was very welcoming and straight away I knew I had backed a winner.
I was taken to my room and very pleasantly surprised by the size of the bed and that everything seemed to work as it should!
No sooner had I unpacked than Reception called to check everything was ok, which it was - the plasma tv and free fully functional wi-fi took care of that.
Then, a few minutes later the maid arrived to offer a turn-down service - I've never experienced that in a Marriott before!
I ate breakfast in the restaurant the following morning and it was very good - I ordered the waffle and boy, was it huge!!
Overall, a very satisfying stay and a total credit to Marriott Hotels. I have awarded the Limerick Marriott a full five dots - something that I'm rarely able to do.
The Bristol Marriott could learn a lot from this hotel!

“Fantastic Staff, Fab Hotel Defintely Worth A Visit”

Limerick Marriott Hotel

From the moment we stepped into the hotel we were looked after so well. The hotel kindly allocated us an arly check in on arrival as we arrived in the hotel at approx 11am. We had requested a rollaway bed for a child in the room and everything was ready for us at no extra charge! They even gave our 6 year old some colouring pencils in a special Marriott children's pack.

The rooms are beautiful and as for the beds..... amazing!!!! As we left for the pool we noticed that the lock on our door was not working properly. We notified the staff and they moved us to a different room without any difficulty. As we were moving Sarah, a fantastically efficient lady at the desk rang to apologise for any inconvenience caused by the move and upgraded us to a suite for the hassle!!! What a service.

All in all I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Limerick. Such a central location with everything on your doorstep. We'll definitely stay there again!!!

“Great hotel, excellent service”

Limerick Marriott Hotel

15 Oct 2007

Stayred there for four nights on a business trip.
rooms are great and includes wi-fi.
Service is excellent, polite and prompt.
The valet parking is really great. Much better than walking through some dodgy apartments that you have to do with the Clarion hotel car park.
The price looks the same as the Clarion but it includes parking and breakfast so it works out 50 euro cheaper for a 5 day stay.
It's central loation is great, only one minute away from restaurants and shops.

“The Pillows!”

Wexford, Ireland

Disclaimer: We didn't pay, we won an overnight in this hotel in a Lyric FM competition, courtesy of the Irish Chamber Orchestra. The ICO sure got the right sponsors if they want to convey quality (as well as their own excellent concert I hasten to add).

We met Sarah the extra-helpful receptionist who brought us to our king room. We've never seen so many pillows. Widescreen TV, free WiFi, comfy seats, usual tea making, sparkling new bathroom, all the luxury touches.
I have to add one funny comment where they were a bit over-anxious to be luxury and put a letter on the desk offering an indulgent treat to spoil ourselves ... it turned out to be a cup of tea with a couple of coin-sized biscuits! That isn't a complaint, just a smile at them getting lost in their hype.

They called a taxi for us to get us back from the concert venue.

My wife did find it a little difficult to get to sleep because of some noise but we couldn't be bothered to get out of the comfy bed to find out whether it was traffic or airconditioning.

Breakfast was excellent - good fruit choices, porridge, full Irish breakfast tasted freshly made unlike many mass-catering hotels.

Really nice.
