We arrived at Stonecroft on sunday 6th June at around 6 pm, where we were greeted by Mary, our host for the stay. She made us feel at home immediately, and offered us tea and scones- not on the itinerary. The first thing to notice is the stunning view from the breakfast room, or any of the front facing rooms. The rolling countryside going up to the mountains. We were offered the choice of two rooms, we actually chose a rear facing room overlooking a wild flower meadow. the rooms had all we required and were comfortable. Breakfast was -to say the least-filling. We had full irish each day with additional toast, fruit, and yoghurts. Enough to last the day. Mary's husband Christie also gave us some pointers on places to go and visit, and restaurant recommendations.(See review on Henry's). All in all an enjoyable stay and would recommend to anyone.
