We booked 2 rooms at the Acorn Lodge Hotel in Harrogate for a weekend away in Yorkshire.

The rooms were beautiful, spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable. Our room had an gorgeous spacious bathroom with a whirlpool spa bath!

I couldn't agree more with the other reviews. This place is perfect in every way. A top class B&B with a modern relaxed feel. We only met Philip, and he was excellent. Nothing is too much trouble, and he is a really, really nice guy. He was so accommodating and helpful without being in the way.

The breakfasts were delicious and freshly made to order which was a nice change from the usual self-service. I enjoyed beautiful fresh fruit, and lovely plunger coffee - plus the best poached eggs on toast I've ever had!

We couldn't rate this B&B more highly and will most certain stay again if we are in the area!

This is the 5th time we have stayed at Acorn Lodge Hotel in Alexandra Road Harrogate. Philip and Alison the proprietorsare the nicest couple one would wish for. They make your stay as comfortable as possible and it is like a second home for myself my husband and my daughter with her baby. We wouldnt want to stay anywhere else. It is so handy for the Conference Centre and also just a short walk into the Town Centre. The accommodation is spotless and the breakfasts are excellent. Nothing is too much trouble for them just ask for something and they do their utmost to get it for you Paul, Lynn, Nicola and baby Jasmine, Weston-super-Mare.

I think for a "5", you have to be able to say "what more could you want?". Well, at Acorn Lodge, nothing. From first to last the owners were helpful, the property comfortable and the food & facilities first class. We booked following the other reviews here, received written confirmation & were expected on arrival. Our front facing room overlooked the quiet residential street. Overnight we parked on the drive and the next day, when we'd gone into Harrogate were given a resident's permit to park right outside. The room [a twin, the doubles were all booked] was comfortable, with chairs & table to form a small sitting room. The bathroom/shower was fine if [my only quibble] a little on the small side. Breakfast was simply first class & we heard others being given vegetarian/special diet options too. It's not quite 10 minutes into the centre of town, so all in all, first class. We'd most certainly go again.

Just back from a weekend at the Acorn Lodge and, having enjoyed such a pleasant experience, decided to register with Trip Advisor to enable us to pass on our views. All the previous reviews were good but a bit dated so we hoped that we were on to a winner and we were not disappointed.

Our late night arrival was genuinely greeted by Phil, the superior room was spacious and very clean. You are asked to complete your breakfast requirements overnight and this includes 'time of arrival' which may not suit all sorts, but, it worked for us and meant there was no delay between cereal and Full English!

This is a very relaxed, homely place to stay and is only 5-10 minutes walk to the town centre - Highly recommended!
