We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this small B&B which is tucked away off the main road 7 miles or so from Harrogate. The stone house sits in a wonderful tranquil spot surrounded by beautiful gardens. Upon arrival we were personally greeted by the owner and shown into the beautiful lounge reserved for guests and served afternoon tea with cakes. Our room was comparable to any 5* hotel with every comfort - mini fridge, large fluffy towels, bathrobes and luxury toiletries. The tea and coffee making facilities were far superior to any I have had in luxury hotels - porcelain cups, teapot, milk supplied together with bottled water in fridge each day and a vast choice of different teas, coffee, hot chocolate and luxury biscuits which were replenished daily. The breakfasts were enormous and presented on beautiful crockery in a lovely sunny dining room which overlooked the terrace and gardens. Good selection of different types of room, ours had a separate sitting room and large bathroom. It made our holiday to Harrogate and the Yorkshire Dales and we shall certainly look forward to another visit soon. Don't miss the experience - you will not be disappointed.
