Cant complain really. Massive and clean room, comfortable bed, spotless barthroom and 2 large plasma tv's!

Yes the rooms are a little tired but never the less, my stay was pleasant enough that Id consider taking the family there (as I was staying on business).

This Hilton is on the decline. Mildew in shower. Smell of humidity in bathroom. Poor lighting in rooms. Extremely narrow twin beds. I will tell my employer never to put me here again. On a brighter side the staff was flawless.

This was an overnight stay with parking for an early morning flight. Although we weren't in the hotel for long we were a little disappointed with a few things. The staff on the reception were very efficient and polite and the taxi service to and from the airport was good. But the hotels cleanliness left a little to be desired. The carpets along the corridors were dirty and there was a razor head outside our bedroom door. There were room service trays with breakfast left overs at 8pm at night. The room itself wasn't too bad but the bathroom needed a little extra attention. The bar prices were extortionate. (Over £12 for a glass of wine and a pint of lager). As there are several other hotels much closer to the airport we would probably try one of those next time!

I stay in Hiltons all over the UK and have stayed at the East Midlands Hilton a fair few times now.
What Im noticing is the Hotel is slipping on its standards more and more.
I booked a no - smoking room to be given a smoking room.
I had an inculsive meal with the package but they would not let me move this to the second night ( other Hiltons never had any problem ) .
The air con in the room 302 only pumped out hot air.The rooms South facing so the heat in the room became unbearable.
The bathroom had sharp edges along the sink area.
In general this Hotel has lost its Hilton standards.
I will not be visiting again.Next time I will stay at the Priest House down the road.
