Stayed here before flying out on holiday. First impressions... did not fancy the look as it appears remote and slightly rundown. However on entering the guy who showed us to our room could not have been nicer. Let us use microwave to cook and provided plenty of Bread/Cereal since we had an early start.

Big spacious room, no problems. Also on our return offered tea/coffee when we uplifted our car.

Taxi rides around £10 each way add a bit to the expense. Also the vehicle was moved elsewhere during our stay and returned to this location.

Overall...warm and Friendly.

We stayed here for one night and it was perfectly adequate. There was 4 of us (including our 2 children) and we were given the bungalow next door to the guest house. We were very comfortable, and the young man that showed us in was very friendly. He left us plenty of cereal and bread for our breakfast in the well equiped kitchen in the bungalow.There was 2 bedrooms each with a double and a single bed,a lounge area and a nice bathroom. We were also left plenty of juice, tea and coffee. Our only gripe was that we were lead to believe that he had pre booked our early morning taxi to the airport, but he hadn't. Luckily he had left us a taxi no and we sorted it quickly. Our car was fine on our return and hadn't been moved or touched. It was fairly early on our return and we were kindly invited in for a hot drink before driving home. Perfect for what we needed

I stayed here overnight having a very early departure to Gatwick Airport the following morning I chose this establishment as it offered free overnight on site parking (Ideal as I was travelling in a very loaded self drive car which I was leaving at the airport prior to departure) I made the booking directly from the website and received very good directions to the house , which is very convenient for Gatwick.

The website stated that all rooms had private baths and toilet facilities. A small shower stall and wash hand basin was in the room, the toilet was (for room 6, a ground floor single,) in a room marked private across the entry hall behind the Reception desk! The bedroom was pleasant equipped with a comfortable single bed, television, alarm clock, wall hangers for clothes, a chair and desk and ample towels. Please note no hairdryer, kettle, or complimentary toiletries, and more important no phone. In fact no access to a phone at the front desk! I was directed to the pub down the road to their pay phone, Not bad at all Great beer, nice food and good atmosphere. There is also a Country club restaurant a couple of minutes trot down the road in the opposite direction for the more upmarket traveller! Despite the lack of phone there was inexplicably a free WiFi connection when I fired up the notebook.

The staff were very pleasant and accomodating. Though they leave early in the evening the building is secure and safe being under CCTV surveillance. I felt like I was staying with a distant relative who was working night shift rather than in a Guest House. The lounge had comfortable couches and a buffet bar was stocked with coffe and tea, a fridge full of juices, and for the early birds cereals, breads and jams were left out in the morning. I met several people wandering around the garden munching and musing at all hours, and like myself looking quite content.

For a convenient and economical short stay I could not fault this establishment.

This is a bed and breakfast supplying a convenient parking service for holiday makers using Gatwick Airport. You can stay overnight and leave your car while you are away for a reasonable fee. Courtesy transport to and from the airport is supplied. The owner is a nice guy and very friendly and you get a basic breakfast, so good value in the segment it caters for. At the same time this is not sphisticated & the rooms are organised for capacity not for luxury. there were six beds in my room and the shower had been converted from a built in cupboard. You won't impress the girl you met in the piano bar by taking her back here - but does she care anyway?
