“Da Vinci Cottage was adequate”

As a party of 6 we stayed at the 2 bedroom Da Vinci Cottage.
The cottage was damp (I suspect it hadn't been aired for a week or 2) and a bit tatty. There were several broken tiles in the bathroom and the cooker was horrendous. That said, it was totally adequate for our overnight stay.

The staff were friendly and there was plenty of tea, coffee, milk, cereal and bread etc provided for self service breakfast (guests in the manor get a cooked breakfast). The staff organised a mpv cab for the morning of our flight.

Parking for 2 weeks was included in the price (which was about the same price as 2 weeks parking at Gatwick). I was dubious about leaving the car keys with the staff but was pleased on my return to note that the car had moved less than a few yards. The grounds in this manor are very large and there were plenty of cars that needed to be shuffled around.

Despite its close location to Gatwick airport it is very quiet but it is still a 6 mile drive.

Overall, it was adequate for our needs and good value for money!

This place is good value. I would stay here again. My car had its badge stolen while I was there but the owner paid for a new badge. He says he has also installed CCTV to stop children stealing car badges

Excellent service, good breakfast, clean and well maintained guest house.

“We Really Like This Lovley Guest House”

The accommodation at Da vinci was booked by our company for 3 rooms for 2 months. When we entered at Da Vinci guest house we were overwelmed by kindness from the staff.

There is a very nice large guest lounge where could relax and we could help our selves with tea and coffe at any time free of charge or we can relax at the large nice back garden

The breakfast offered was very nice and we could have either cont or full english breakfast after 7.30 a.m.

I would like to add that we found the guest house very clean , well decorated and in lovley, safe and convenient surroundings.

We would highly recommend this nice guest house to all over friends.

Excellent place and most convenient . Excellent service. Very clean and comfortable rooms. free tea / coffee at the guest lounge. We stay at Da vinci Guest house 3 times a year and we highly recommend this place.

Also, we always leave our cars at Da Vinci which we have found very secure.
