I have been to Kwai 2 a number of times and enjoyed it each time. The business lunches especially are great value and it offers an excellent choice. The building itself is airy though you get a sense of intimacy. I will continue to go and recommend to friends, especially those who are new to Thai food.

I have long been a fan of Thai food and Kwai2 stands out as the best I have tried so far. What I wasn't aware of was the amount of vegetarian Thai food available. Now I understand it is a bit of a speciality at Kwai2 and the chef was very helpful at preparing certain dishes as vegetarian options for us but with a vegetarian girlfriend it is probably the widest variety of choice I have seen. I'm not saying it is only for veggies. It is equally good for us non-veggies but if you want a vegetarian meal with lots of flavour try this place. If it isn't immediately obvious what's on offer, ask to see the chef. I can't remember her name but she was great.

Makes picking a place for us both to go out easy now :o)

Truly excellent Thai restaurant. Fresh and authentic, with seriously hot and spicy dishes available if you want them. Innovative with it's approach to promoting real Thai dishes such as salads, 5 chilli rated dishes and even special deserts on high days and holidays, you can tell someone is serious about bringing Thai food of the highest quality to customers. Wine list is excellent and reasonably priced. Staff members are delightful and very friendly. The only criticism is that sometimes it teeters on the edge of being a victim of it's own success in trying to cater for more people than it can truly deal with, but it usually manages to pull it off at busy times. Can't go often enough and am often thinking about the food to be found there.

Excellent food, all fresh and able to taste the flavours. Would love to know the suppliers and maybe next week when I return I will ask for their details. Then I simply need to learn how to cook! Recomendations are the sea food soup, beef salad followed by the best scallops and pad thai in the world! A new salad menu is now available promoting healthy eating. This I think along with a bottle of Chablis premier cru from their great but simple wine list is a must do on a Saturday afternoon in my diary. Summary:- a breath of fresh air to at long last have an Asian restaurant creating traditional dishes and not westernised. For those wishing to visit Thailand but for one reason or another can't , this is the closest that you will get.
