We were travelling home to Scotland from Wiltshire and decided to stop here for the night and were very pleased we did so. We took the Dinner, B&B option and were so pleased we did. Firstly the room was in a modernised barn behind the Inn and was huge, spotlessly clean and very very comfortable. Then the dinner ... the food was all local produce and was cooked beautifully. Traditional the dishes may be, but with fresh local seasonal produce cooked well, British food can be the beating of many other cuisines and you could not do much better than the food served here. And the duck ... well try it for yourselves! The breakfast was just as good and we managed to get the name of the local butcher they use so that we could stock up before returning across the border.
