The staff were all very helpful and friendly. That's the good bit...
My room was at the back of a block. T get to it I had to walk through a passage which smelt of urine and also had a nasty sticky puddle in it.
It was dark when I arrived, and I had problems making my rather worn key card work. I felt a little vulnerable as I was at the back of the building, and there were groups of young lads hanging around outside rooms further along (who were probably harmless, but if they hadn't been...)
The room was basic and smelt unpleasant. The only extra fixture was a bottle opener, which gives you a clue...
I didn't feel comfortable in the restautant; as far as I know I was the only female there. It has a 'blokey' feel, with Sky sports on a wide screen TV. The food was Ok though a little overpriced, and service was a bit slow, although restaurant staff were very pleasant.
The bed was comfortable but the walls are thin, and people walked up and down the path past the door at all hours. I woke up with several bites on my legs...
I wouldn't recommend that women travelling alone stay here, but if you are looking for somewhere blokey and cheap, it's probably OK.
