I recently stayed at the Regent and i received a very warm welcome, the room was lovely, they have recently refurbished the bar and have a new room called the Park View Suite which is lovely. I found it really well priced for the quality, especially as it is in the centre of Doncaster. All the staff are friendly and helpful, especially Monica and Simon the Manager. Downstairs they have a bar named Abbey Road - Beatles themed, wonderful food and a good selection of drinks and wine!! I would reccomend this to anyone who is staying in Doncaster, the location is also spot on right in the centre of town, easily accessible to everywhere, it also has a modern lounge/bar which can be booked out for events and parties which i found useful to know!

Had a 2 night weekend break which was great value for money. Our room on the first floor was very spacious, had a kingsize bed & was very clean. The bathroom positively shone. All the staff were very friendly & helpful. We only had breakfast which was both substantial & with plenty of choice. It was all freshly cooked. Position excellent as only 10 minutes walk to main centre & 15/20 minutes to rail or bus stations.
Very pleasant & would certainly recommend.

We stayed there for a weekend night out and could not fault the hotel or its staff when we were checking in there were a loud bragging toffee nosed couple who must have thought they were checking in at the radisson and were moaning because they couldnt park outside the door and wanted compensation "pathetic" [must have got a new motability car and wanted to show it off] we got parked no bother.i left my keys with the manager and in the morning my car was outside the door Why do wannabees always check in at cheaper hotels and expect 5 star service then pick on the receptionists wanting free upgrades etc professional moaners i call them. The staff were very friendly and helpful the rooms were clean and modern and its only a minute or so to the town centre.I would recommend this hotel to anyone and we will definately be going back

We held our Civil Partnership party there in the Abbey Road Studio & Bar followed by an overnight stay.
We could not fault this hotel or it's staff. The food & hospitality was excellent, service perfect, location fantastic & room excellent.
If you want a good party or just an overnight or weekend break then this is perfect.
It's own restaurant is fantastic, food delicious or it's location makes it perfect for a short walk to the centre of Doncaster with it's many bars & restaurants.

A Big Thank You to Jenny & Stuart of The Regent.
