We visited this museum with friends who live locally. The old local shops theme was well done with humour. Definitiely reflected how things used to be round those parts. Fascinating exhibits from the WW2 period in the entrance hall. Some renovation under way. The best surprise was walking out into the sunshine of the canal basin and being invited on an old working narrowboat. Absolutely fascinating. A finbe example of a local museum.
