We stayed at this hotel in August of 2003. Take heed - it's well located, the web site looks nice, but the staff is surly and the rooms small and depressing, and yes, this is in the actual hotel. Not only that, they were trying to rip us off in the room rate when we checked out (we had reserved one class of room, and got this small thingy, and when they tried to bill us, they were still trying to charg us for the room we thought we would get!)It looks cute on the web site - what they don't show you is chairs with stuffing coming out in the hallways, the unbelivably bad bathrooms, and the grumpyness of the staff. We are widely travelled - this is the worst hotel we have stayed in.

I have to admit, I wrote the previous review on the Printania Hotel in Dinard, but I thought I ought to be fair to the hotel & point out that if you're lucky enough to get a room at the actual hotel (we were shoved in an room down the road) it does seem extremely luxurious with bags of olde-world charm & character. The sea-views are incredible & there is a beautiful terrace that looks straight out onto the sea. Definitely well worth a stay, but insist on a room at the hotel & don't take any Blarney about there being no decent rooms left if you've already pre-booked!
PS, if you like mussels (as I do) the mussels in Dinard are to die for.
