This hotel is located slightly away from the main parts of st malo but who's to say that's not an advantage. The service is efficient and very helpful at all times. The rooms are well equipped with very comfortable beds and great towels/linens. We got the ocean facing balcony and were woken up by the thrashing tides one particularly wild morning, we just sat on the balcony and watched the waves. A great experience.

Hotel Beaufort is located right next to the beach. Just grab a towel and you're ready for a swim! The view to the sea is absolutely amazing. Rooms are beautifully decorated with light colours. Atmosphere in the restaurant downstairs is nice and it's a great place to enjoy a nice glass of wine in the evenings.
Would definately recommend this hotel, just make sure you're room has got a seaview, it is one not to miss!!

This small hotel is what you could class as a regular 3 star facility. The double rooms are very small but comfortable and adequate if you are staying a couple of nights. The rooms were clean but lacked plugs and rather annoyingly the plug power went off when you took the key out of the lock so you couldnt leave any devices on charge.
Breakfast was OK and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The location however is the main attraction that makes this hotel stand out from the crowd! right on the promenade sea front, 20 minutes walk into St Malo along the promenade, you look immediately onto the sea with great views either way to Sta Malo and the headland, so its a great place to sit out and read or have a drink or just watch the world go by. I would definately pay for the first floor sea view rooms with a balcony, 12 and 18 have their own balcony, 14 and 16 share a large balcony so any of these would be perfect. Only road side parking is avalable which can be tricky at certain times of the day.

Room tip: sea view on first floor with balcony 12/14/16/18 all doubles.

We booked what looked online like a nice accommodation with double bed and separate bunk beds. It is actually a small bungalow just outside the hotel on the street level with tiny kid beds and the only bathroom at basement level. Room is dark and gets noise from street. There is no view and the hotel wifi does not work there. When we complained that the accommodation did not meet our expectations we got no satisfaction and they would not let us check out early (nonrefundable booking type). It looks like a nice hotel, but not from that room.

The primary reception team member we dealt with was very kind and gracious. But any negotiations about improving the quality of our stay hit a brick wall.

The small restaurant area is beautiful with a view of the water and bar/breakfast service was adequate.

Nice hotel, clean rooms friendly staff. Close to all amenities and the walled city. Sunsets are beautiful ( get a sea side room). The only downsides are parking is on the street if you can find one ( but it's free) not enough plug ins in the room and breakfast wasn't free ( should have been, very basic)
