This hotel has recently installed shiny baths in every bathroom. The shower is over the bath, there are no handrails, no safety mats or anti-slip surface, and the drainage is so poor that water does not get away, and you end up up to your ankles in soapy water. The consequences are a very slippery bath, nothing to hang onto, and, in my case, an injury to my face requiring 4 stitches when I slipped getting out.
If you want to avoid a trip to the hospital in an ambulance like I had, you need to take care.
As I was being taken out of the hotel by the ambulance officers, the front desk asked me to "fix up the bill" before I went (my belongings were still in the room, and it was before check-out time!). The ambulance officers told the desk in no uncertain terms that it was not appropriate to ask a client for payment at that moment.
