we stayed at the hotel for one night on our outward journey and one night on the return
the check-in was easy and fast
we had room 159. the room was clean warm and comfortable
the bar prices were very very high and the staff most unfriendly
the evening meal (as supplied to our party) was very poor quality and small portions.
the breakfast was buffet style continental and on outward leg the choice included the usual breads, cooked meats, cheeses, cereals eggs toast plus tea or coffee
.however on the return leg we were put into a side room and the
evening meal was same poor quality
and the breakfast choice was reduced. NO CEREALS, NO TOAST, NO EGGS and the staff impolite.

Turned up on spec on our journey home from the Alps to London. Plenty of room. This was the highest grade 'Accor' I have stayed in whilst on a leisure trip and it was worth it.

Very conveniently placed by major roads but with fields and a decent countryside view to one side (our room had this view), felt nice and rural.

Another reminder that calling it "Troyes Aeroport" is a bit silly as the airport has no significant commercial aviation activity

Enjoyed a swim before dinner, although the pool was cold and autumnal (a few leaves had landed in the water) it was a very refreshing 'dip')

The only down side was the waiter in the restaurant. Although not particualrly late in the evening we were surrounded by the staff changing tables from 'evening meal' set out to 'breakfast' set out - not a great ambience.

Our 'waiter' was not as clean cut as he should have been - dressed in not very 'waiter-like' clothes and seemed to be a multi-job man. My wife spotted him picking his nose immediately before serving us with one of our courses.

Enjoyed the aerobatics by a pilot at the airfield in the morning!

An ordinary Novotel (so good, reasonably priced restaurant and rock-hard beds) in a surprisingly quiet location between Troyes Airport (very small and quiet; no jets) and an industrial estate on the edge of Troyes. Not too easy to find but a good overnight choice if you have satellite navigation and you are able to get a discounted rate.

This hotel is said to be by the airport. The airport is very tiny and causes no noise or problems. That said, once Easyjet et al realise what a gem the town of Troyes is, I am sure this may change. Hotel was very good, service excellent. Restaurant very good. An excellent place for a stop over. Try to make time to visit the town though - well worth it.
