We had a few rude experiences from the service end and never felt welcome at this hotel. Our first trouble was when we arrived after 3pm checkin time and were told our room wouldn't be ready for another 1 1/2 hours and there is nothing they can do about it. The second extremely rude experience was when we invited friends to the bar for a drink and we were told there was no room for us and that we should go to our room and wait until they call us. Even our friends suggested a talk with managment over this one. We were all extremely well dressed and men had on jackets. Many staff seemed to have an attitude towards the guests and we felt very unappreciated as customers and all for 1400Euro per night.
The room itself was very nice and clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We were given a room that looked into others windows and overlooked a patio. The suite set up has glass doors to the sitting area which I feel defeats the purpose of having a suite. The bedroom was very spacious and the suite offered 1 1/2 baths. The location of the hotel was excellent and within a short walk to most attractions on our list. There are many other very nice hotel options in Paris and I think we'll find one that has better service for our next visit.
